WASP Technologies deliver handheld Asset Tracking solution to PCI
WASP Technologies has recently implemented an Asset Tracking application on handheld computers for PCI, the e-commerce Solutions subsidiary of An Post.
Utilising WASP Technologies ATR (Asset Tracking Register) application, PCI has full control over their IT assets, from the point of order of the asset through to the issuing of an asset to a department or individual. As assets are received, they are scanned on a handheld computer, matched against a purchase order, and issued to a department or individual. These details are then uploaded to a central database which provides a full suite of reports covering receipts, issues, depreciation, transfers, disposals etc.
