PCI eCommerce Solutions selects WASP Technologies “IntelliServe” solution for deployment with PCI Counter Service Team.

PCI eCommerce directly service and support over 1000 Post Offices in Ireland, and are also responsible for the installation and maintenance of the full range of retail EPOS equipment. Due to the growing number of service requests and equipment being installed, the existing process needed to be upgraded. Therefore a Handheld call logging system was identified as being necessary for future growth of the division’s service offering.

PCI's basic requirements called for a Handheld solution with Barcode capture, Push notification, update of logged service calls and reliable wireless communications between the team and the Control centre in Dublin. Additional requirements of signature capture and image capture were also needed. The data captured was then to be delivered
to the central database of IT assets where it could be centrally controlled. IntelliServe also provides a full suite of content rich reporting to the back office.

PCI selected WASP Technologies Ltd service product “IntelliServe” to meet their needs. “IntelliServe” allowed for all the requirements to be met and, being a fully featured wireless solution, was capable of delivering a reliable and user friendly solution to the Service Engineers Team. Using the existing mobile GPRS networks, information is easily and quickly pushed between the Engineers and the Control centre, thus eliminating the need for any other service process.
