Masser Hammond chooses WASP Technologies “IntelliServe” solution as the backbone for their Service Division.

Masser Hammond is a leading sales and maintenance company within the catering, hospitality and health sectors, supplying and maintaining equipment from food preparation, cooking and refrigeration to dishwashing and laundry. The company, having enjoyed a sustained increase in business, were struggling to cope with an increasing mountain of paperwork and realised they had out grown their existing call logging system. With a growing level of calls being logged and increased flexibility required; the existing system needed to be replaced. A single scalable call distribution and management solution was identified as an urgent requirement to allow the company achieve its plans for the future.

The chosen solution would have to be extremely flexible and scalable; contain an integrated handheld solution that was user friendly and simple to use. It also had to have the ability to cater for multiple divisions and effectively distribute engineers’ daily calls and ensure a high level of compliance when completing calls. Extra functionality such as signature capture, timesheet entry, customised reports and the ability to publish call details over the web; were also identified.
